The Workers Theatre is commissioning five pieces of writing that ask what is next for Scottish Theatre. We want your provocations, experiences and responses, in any form, to comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable. We want to hear about what Scottish Theatre is to you and why there can be no going back to normal, and we want to pay you for your thoughts. The pandemic has caused a break in our profession. How should it be mended? How should we deal with what was already broken? In a post-viral, late-capitalist Scotland, what is theatre for?
Please send a short email to firstname.lastname@example.org outlining briefly what you want to write. Chosen pieces will be paid £100. We want to hear from marginalised workers and will be specifically prioritising Black workers.
